Who's behind Voltaraj

Built by someone who has sat on both sides of the credit table.

For twenty years I've built financial models for banks and for companies — on both sides of the credit table. I've signed approvals as a banking executive and built financing files as an entrepreneur. I know exactly what happens to a spreadsheet when it reaches a credit committee — because I've been the one sending it, and the one taking it apart.

In energy, I served on the board of EDPR Romania (2010–2014), representing local partner Renovatio, during the period when the company built and financed 340 MW of wind — with EBRD, IFC and commercial banks, under the most demanding reporting regime in project finance. And I was on the team that took 17 MW of solar from EPC contract to final drawdown in southern Romania.

Voltaraj is simple to explain: it's the model I would have demanded, back when I was the one signing. Every figure carries its provenance, including when that provenance is “model default rate, not a quoted cost”. Every clause declares once whether it entered the numbers, every exclusion is written as one. Not because it sounds good — because anything else fails due diligence.
